For Firms & Teams
The Standing Headshot Program
One price per headshot, agreed once. New hires and refreshes photographed as they come, in the same setup, at the same price. Your team page never drifts again.
No contract, no retainer, no minimum. An arrangement, not a commitment.

Everyone sees their images on the big screen during the session. If it is not right, we fix it in the room.

Every firm's standard is its own. A few of the looks we build.
Why team pages drift
Look at almost any firm's People page and you can read its hiring history in the photos. A cluster of matching portraits from the last big shoot. A few older ones from the shoot before that. And the newest hires with whatever they had, a phone photo, a crop from a wedding, a headshot from three jobs ago.
Nobody chose that. It happens because photography gets bought as an event, a big team day every few years, and every hire after the shoot has nowhere to go. Drift is not a photography problem. It is the natural result of not having a standing photographer.
The program fixes the system instead of the symptom.
How it works
One consultation
We agree the standard together: background, lighting, framing, the look that fits your firm. We also agree one price per headshot. I write both down, and they hold for the arrangement.
The first session
The current team is photographed at your office or at the studio, most firms do it in one day. Everyone sees their images on a large screen and chooses their favourite before they leave.
From then on
A new associate joins? One email books them in, same setup, same price, no quoting, no meetings. Someone wants a refresh? Same. The page stays consistent because the system that keeps it consistent never stops existing.
Every headshot includes
Direction during the session, so nobody has to know how to pose. Review on a large screen, so each person approves their image before they leave. A retouched, high resolution file, delivered within five business days of selection, sized for your website, LinkedIn, and print. License for the firm's promotional use.
Why firms keep the arrangement
Twenty minutes settles it. One consultation scopes your firm's look and rate.
Schedule a ConsultationHow it runs in practice
A Toronto law firm sends me every new associate as they join. The arrangement started with a partner's own headshot, and it grew because it was easy: a set price per person, sessions booked around the firm's schedule, and every portrait matching the ones before it.
Their people page reads like one firm, not like five different years. Nobody there thinks about photography anymore. That is the point.
The question a standing arrangement really asks
Not whether one session goes well. Whether the same person is still worth calling in three years, when the associate who joined this month needs a headshot that matches the partner photographed before them.
That answer is not mine to give. These are public reviews on Google, from people who came back on their own.
“I have been working with Ymaphoto for a few years now and I am always INSANELY happy with the results.”
Zade O’Blenes
“I have worked with Youseff three times and enjoyed every meeting with him.”
Jim Canale
“I’ve worked with Youssef a couple of times now and I will say that he is one of the best in the business.”
Scott Neville
“Youssef has done it again! He is a kind, gracious photographer who’s aim is to make who ever is in front of the camera, look (and feel) awesome!”
Dorrett White
“Working with youssef is always An amazing experience.”
Amir Nady
Fifteen years of that is what a standing arrangement is built on. The rate holds, the setup holds, and the person behind the camera is the same one who photographed the rest of your team.
What it costs
from $300 + HST per headshot
Your firm's exact rate depends on team size, location, and the look we build, and it is agreed once at the consultation. After that it holds, for the first session and for every new hire after it.
Twenty minutes on a call settles it. Prefer email? Send your team size to Youssef@ymaphoto.com and a range comes back the same day.
Common questions
Do we sign a contract?
No. There is no contract, no retainer, and no minimum. The arrangement is a price and a standard, written down after your consultation. Firms stay because it keeps working, not because anything obliges them to.
Where do the sessions happen?
Your office, the Oakville studio at 2030 Bristol Circle, or Toronto studio space, whichever suits the day. Most first sessions happen at the firm's office. Individual new hire sessions go wherever is easiest for the person.
What if we just need one person photographed?
That is the arrangement working as designed. One new hire is a normal booking at your firm's standing rate. No minimums, no waiting to batch people up.
How fast are the files delivered?
Each person chooses their favourite on the big screen during the session, and retouched files arrive within five business days of selections. Rush is available on request.
Our current photos are a mix. Where do we start?
Most firms start with one session that resets the whole team to a single standard, then move to the as they come rhythm for new hires and refreshes. If part of your team was photographed recently in a style worth keeping, I can match it rather than replace it.
Can the program match our brand?
Yes. The standard we agree at the consultation is built around your firm's site and identity: background tone, colour or black and white, framing, and how formal the direction runs. It is your look, made repeatable.
